Kindergarten Registration

At Mesa Grande we have open registration.  Please visit our front office during office hours to pick up your student's enrollment packet or call (760) 244-3709 to set up an enrollment appointment.  We look forward to serving your student's educational needs

To register, you must bring your child's:

1. Complete and up to date immunization (shot) record to include:

• 4 polio
• 5 DPT
• 2 MMR
• 3 Hepatitis B1
• Varicella

2. Birth Certificate

3. Physical and dental forms completed by the doctor NO SOONER than Feb. 9th

4. Proof of Residency - such as a utility bill.

Kindergarten Registration dates as outlined in SB 1381 have been changed and earlier kindergarten start dates will be phased in over a three year period beginning with the 2012 - 2013 school year.  Your child must be five (5) prior to the following dates:

• School year 2012 - 2013 will be 5 by November 1, 2012
• School year 2013 - 2014 will be 5 by October 1, 2013
• School year 2014 - 2015 will be 5 by September 1, 2014

Mesa Grande is pleased to announce that we are able to offer library use to parents of our Mesa Grande students.  If you are interested in being assigned a library account feel free to either come into the library (after signing in at the office) Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:45 a.m. 8:20 a.m., or email Brenda.Sewell@Hesperiausd.org.
